The Gimlet is not a Martini per se. But more of a classic cocktail. But I thought it was worth talking about because it is sometimes confused with the Gibson Martini. And it is very similar to a Martini becaues it is just really a chilled glass of Gin or Vodka and lime juice. Which is very similar to the simplicity of the Classic Martini.
How To Make A Gimlet
- 1/2 part gin
- 1/2 part Rose's Lime Juice
Serve and stir in same glass
Or
- 1/4 Lime Juice
- 3/4 Dry Gin
Shake well and strain into medium glass, fill up with soda water.
Or
- 2 oz Gin or Vodka
- 1/4 to 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
Stir and garnish with lime.
